Who is Alpinestars?

The company started in 1963 when leather craftsman Sante Mazzarolo produced the first product bearing the Alpinestar name. At that time, motocross racing was just an up and coming motorsport event. Mazzarolo noticed the need for footwear that would protect the riders from the harsh condition of motocross racing. It was a success all over Europe that it has become the benchmark for future designs of boots.

As years went by, more and more riders started using Alpinestars boots and have become part of past motocross champions' success, and by the mid-'90s, they launched the first technical apparel line. Today Alpinestar is a household name when it comes to protective wear, not just by motorcycle riders but other racing disciplines such as  Formula one, Kart racing, and more.

Bell began as a small auto parts store in a suburb of Los Angeles. Growing under the leadership of Roy Richter, Bell became a leader in safety equipment for auto racing, motorcycling and bicycling. His commitment to creating great products through a close connection with the sport, along with his trust of and care for the people who worked for him, turned Bell from a one-man operation to the premiere safety helmet company in the world. From our first helmet manufactured in a garage behind Bell Auto Parts in 1954 under the leadership of Roy Richter, to the present line, we're constantly breaking new ground in safety and comfort technology innovations. We know that, as quick as the final flash of that checkered flag, the future soon becomes the past-so we don't look back, we keep pushing forward, searching for the next finish line, the next win in a long history of wins. That legacy continues today with the purpose of creating and producing state-of-the-art head protection.

The History of MOMO

MOMO was founded in 1964 by Italian race car driver Gianpiero Moretti. The MOMO initials stand for Moretti-Monza – Monza being a town in the Province of Milan. That same year, Moretti created a racing steering wheel for his very own race car, which became the first one produced by the brand. It featured a thicker and superior grip when compared to the standard racing steering wheels offered at the time. The difference and convenience of the product were immediately recognized and it quickly became popular in the racing community. In 1964, Formula One driver John Surtees requested the same steering wheel for his single-seater Ferrari, with which he won a Formula One world title later that year.

About Status Racing

Founded in 2004, Status Racing has brought a new level of style and function to the performance seat market with a complete lineup of composite racing seats. After seven successful years of brand establishment, seat sales, and project cars, Status Racing decided to take a step in another direction. In April of 2011, Status Racing changed ownership to help expand the brand’s potential to new heights.

While maintaining its high-quality manufacturing techniques and procedures in Washington state, Rob Rohn and Dan Mermelstein of the largely recognized Vivid Racing company came on board as partners. They became involved with business development, sales, and marketing for the company. Using their successful online and retail background, the duo complements the Washington state office’s military technology and production processes. Partner Chris Venti says, “Rob and Dan do something that nobody else can duplicate online. What we do well is manufacturing. This is a great partnership that will allow us to really show the quality of Status Racing.”
